There are many world heritage sites around the world, which are famous, but if we talk about Indian world heritage sites, then India currently has 40 world heritage sites. UNESCO has declared a total of 40 world heritage sites in India. Of these, seven are natural, 32 are cultural and one is a mixed site. For the first time in India, Ellora caves (Maharashtra) were declared as a World Heritage Site. On the other hand, if we talk about 39th and 40th world heritage, then Kaleshwar temple is located in Telangana. The 40th world heritage site is Dholavira, a city of the Harappan civilization.
